About RVMC

There are two words that characterize Rogue Valley Medical Center (RVMC)—“first” and “only.”

It is the only hospital in the region to have a cardiac catheterization laboratory and the first to begin an open-heart surgery program. It is the only hospital in Oregon and California to be ranked among the nation’s 100 Top Cardiovascular Hospital five times.*

RVMC is the only hospital in southern Oregon to have a gynecologic cancer surgeon and two pediatric oncologists. It offers the only Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for infants and the only perinatologist for women with high-risk pregnancies. It features the only hospital-based joint replacement program in the region that uses minimally-invasive, Computer Assisted Navigation that shortens hospital stays and speeds recovery.
